Painting inspired by a photograph I took in the Smoky Mountains...
I really wanted to learn how to get the transparent water effect with water colors....but could not find any tutorial online...so ended up having bluish brown water in the painting...
for the transparent effect..dab some water on the paper..then dip a wet brush into some paint and then lightly make streaks on the paper..the paint will spread in a wispy sort of way..do this with different colours..but its very important to observe the different colours on the photograph ure recreating
